decking pregrooved. |
| 1. Apply exterior adhesive to joist. |
| 2. Position board. |
| 3. Install EB-TY™ with 7 x 2-1/4" trim head screw or 7d
stainless spiral nail. |
| 4. Repeat process. |

Important: When properly installed, the EB-TY™ system is highly effective.
Please be careful to note the following points:
|
|
1) The trim head screw
angled at 45° must penetrate through the lower lip of the deck groove and
into the joist in order to secure the deck board firmly to the joist.
|
|
2) Construction adhesive should be applied to the top of the joist to cement
the bond between the joist and the boards. This will ensure the stability of
the deck.
