Ipe Deck Tiles
|
20x20 Ipe Deck Tiles offer an alternative to traditional decking and can be installed either as a
temporary or permanent surface. With a durability similar to Teak at a fraction of the price, Ipe Deck Tiles are ideal for balconies,
roof-top decks, patios, gardens, or as a landscaping feature. Use over existing structures such as an old deck or concrete slab.
Ipe is a dense, heavy hardwood that is resistant to rot and decay. This means that your Ipe Deck Tiles, if maintained properly,
should last for decades.
Installation is a snap - literally! Using the I-Connect, the tiles can be installed by a homeowner or professional installer.
Simply place each corner of the tile into the corresponding peg of the i-Connect polypropylene disk, and you are done! You can even
make your own patterns by laying the tiles soldier-style or cross-thatching.

If left unfinished, Ipe Deck Tiles will eventually weather to a natural silver/gray patina, with little maintenance. If you
wish to keep the rich deep color, Ipe Deck Tiles should be coated with a finish made for Ipe decking and other exotic woods, such
as Woodrich Brand Wiping Stain. Frequency of coating depends upon your climate, but plan for an annual recoating to keep your Ipe
Deck Tiles looking fabulously new.
