Garapa Decking
|
Garapa is fast becoming a popular, lighter-colored alternate to Ipe. This dense exotic South American hardwood is
a great choice for decking and exterior applications because it is resistant to rot, decay, splinters and scratches. With proper
care and maintenance, expect decades of enjoyment out of your Garapa deck!
As the wood naturally weathers, it takes on a light silver/gray patina, which means there is no need to apply annual stains or sealers.
If you would like to keep that honey brown color, or if you would like to bring it back to its original look, use a deck cleaner/brightening
system and application of a hardwood finish specifically formulated for Garapa and other exotic hardwoods, such as Woodrich Brand Wiping Stain..
