ANCHORSEAL2?

The next generation of end-sealer is here! ANCHORSEAL2? is a hybrid of new technology polymers and petroleum wax that protects the ends of cut lumber. AS2? is the next generation of ANCHORSEAL?, the sealer of choice for nearly 30 years.

When applied immediately after sawing, ANCHORSEAL2? prevents up to 90% or more of end checking (drying splits). Similar in viscosity to latex paint, ANCHORSEAL2? can be brushed, sponged, sprayed or wiped on with a rag.
Made from renewable natural ingredients and less petroleum-based raw material, it is a "greener" and more economical choice for customers. AS2? hybrid wax coating seals the ends of lumber to protect against end-checking and costly degrade. ANCHORSEAL? products are well-known in the industry as the best quality and most stable wax emulsion end-sealer available.

eDeck stocks ANCHORSEAL2? in clear color, both quart (AS1Q) and gallon (AS1G) cans. One quart should cover approximately 1,500 lineal feet of 1x6 decking, when applied to the cut ends.

Plugs

eDeck stocks 3/8" diameter tapered Ipe Plugs and Garapa Plugs, manufactured from premium grade decking. Other sizes are available through special request. Visit our pricing page for pricing and quantity information.

I-Connect Hidden Fastener System for Ipe Deck Tiles

The I-Connect hidden fastener system is a simple "DIY" connector that locks together eDeck's Ipe Deck Tiles. Made of polypropylene, the 5/32" thick connector keeps the wood tiles from making contact with the sub-surface and absorbing surface moisture.

Simply align the pre-drilled holes from each corner of the tile into an I-Connect receiver peg and your installation is complete! The I-Connect can be floated loose onto the sub-surface, or screwed onto a joist or sleeper system. The I-Connect can even be cut into halves or quarters to support the ends and corners of the deck tile surface area.

EB-TY? Hidden Deck Fasteners

Hidden deck fasteners create a nice smooth deck surface with no screw heads popping up or marring the beauty and comfort of the deck. The deck face boards are held together with patented polypropylene biscuit fasteners.

Invented by Eberle Builders in 1997, EB-TY? hidden deck fasteners are easy to install, maintenance free, compatible with any climate, invisible from the top or bottom of the deck and designed to last 100 years. Additionally, EB-TY? fasteners protect the deck by preventing damaging moisture from seeping in.
Designed to work from the top of the deck installation, EB-TY? only requires one screw at the joist and deck board intersection, saving the installer time and money. EB-TY? fasteners are made in the USA and available for purchase though eDeck.

eDeck sells EB-TY? in two sizes to accommodate various size decking materials: EB-TY? Hidden Fasteners? for 5/4 nominal deck boards, and the EB-TY? Mini Jr. Hidden Fasteners? for 4/4 nominal deck boards. (Use our hidden fastener calculator to determine how many you will need).

EFC-38 Wood Deck and Siding Cleaner/Stripper

EFC-38 Wood Deck and Siding Cleaner/Stripper was developed to tackle your tough wood restoration projects fast. This unique formulation provides the strength necessary to strip most semi-transparent stains and sealers, dead grey wood, mold, mildew and heavy accumulations of grime. Proper surface preparation is the key to successful wood restoration.

EFC-38 contains a percarbonate, but is not like a straight percarbonate cleaner. EFC-38 was designed to remove aged and failing oil-based wood finishes. It will perform many jobs that a percarbonate cleaner can not do. EFC-38 is safe to use and makes an excellent tool for wood restoration. EFC-38 works on removing oil based finishes such as TWP?, READY SEAL?, WOLMAN?, OLYMPIC?, CUPRINOL? and other semitransparent finishes.

Citralic Wood Deck and Siding Brightener/Neutralizer

Citralic Brightener/Neutralizer is a specifically formulated blend of acids and surfactant. Citralic was designed to neutralize and brighten quickly without unwanted bleaching or damage to the wood. Citralic is pH balanced to make the ideal neutralizer for HD-80 and other caustic strippers. Citralic also works well on those jobs that only require light washing. Citralic will make your project stand out among the competition, and it is safer and more effective than Oxalic Acid!

A 2 lb. container makes up to 5 gallons of Brightener. That is enough to brighten up to 750 square feet of wood! eDeck stocks both 2 lb. and 10 lb. containers for your convenience.

HD-80 Heavy Duty Stripper

For more solid deck stains, paint and tough jobs, Woodrich HD-80 Heavy Duty Stripper is the solution. The product was designed to remove even the toughest exterior finishes fast. It will even remove tough finishes like Sikkens, Cabbot and Behr solids.

HD-80 is a highly developed dry powder formulation that mixes easily with water. Mixing your own solution allows you greater flexibility as well as a tremendous savings. Even when mixed at full strength, HD-80 is less than 1/6 the cost of any comparable liquid formulation. HD-80 is extremely stable in solution which allows you to mix a large batch at once to service several crews or simply mix enough for the job at hand. Either way this stability allows for prolonged storage of the mixed solution.

Note that this product is geared towards the contractor, and safety precautions should be taken. HD-80 should be used in a ventilated area. HD-80 is caustic so protective gear should be worn. Protect vegetation and surrounding surfaces. HD-80 will cause some species of wood to darken. HD-80 should always be neutralized with CITRALIC brightener/neutralizer to restore proper pH and natural color.

eDeck stocks HD-80 in 10 lb. tubs only.

Choosing an oil-based stain color for your wood deck is a very personal decision. Each Woodrich stain color was designed with a specific type of wood in mind. It's always best to test the color of each stain on wood matching your project. If you are building a new hardwood deck, try to retain some of the scrap wood to help pick the wood stain color that is right for you. Try these great products for wood deck finishing:
